Farstad Shipping will shortly commission the world-class Farstad Offshore Simulator Centre (FOSC) in Perth. This state-of-the-art centre is being developed for the training of industry personnel in a range of vessel operations including Cargo and Anchor Handling, Dynamic Positioning and Crane Driving. Offering substantial improvements to offshore training, the facility will have significant relevance to the enhancement of effective and safe vessel operations in Australia and the Asia Pacific region. Positions are available for the following:Chief Simulator Instructor - A qualified Master Mariner with significant recent experience on Offshore Supply Vessels, you are ready for a shore-based management and training career.
Simulator Instructor - Highly experienced in Offshore Supply Vessel operations and with a Master Mariner's qualification, you are engaged by developing the skills levels of others and raising ship board operating standards.
Deck & Crane Instructors - With substantial experience on Offshore Supply Vessels and AHT's you have an excellent understanding of safe deck or crane operating procedures and the ability to train others.
DP Instructor - Possessing substantial experience in Offshore Dynamic Positioning Operations, you have Marine qualifications to sail as an Officer on Offshore Vessels as a minimum requirement.
Technical Officer - You have a background in technology of computer networking within a company or perhaps Defence.
Technical Assistant - You have a sound knowledge of comptuer networks and a passion for technology.
Administration Officer - In addition to providing back office support, you will communicate with clients, organise promotions and ensure the facility operates smoothly.
Administration Assistant - Your confident presentation and ability to liaise with clients on diverse issues such as travel and general admin will be a real plus.
