Our Privacy Statement

This document sets out the Privacy Policy of Reis and Company Pty Ltd (ACN 108 786 009).

Background

1. Reis & Company will only collect information from a candidate by way of documents, emails, telephone conversations and interviews which is relevant to considering their appropriateness for current or potential employment opportunities in which they may have an interest.
2. Reis & Company collects information about candidates and potential candidates for full time or part time employment positions. Generally, this information will be sourced directly from the candidate, however, where applicable, information may be supplied by referees.
3. Information about the candidate will not be disclosed to third parties unless the individual is aware who that third part is – i.e. the potential employer and for what purpose it is being disclosed – i.e a position with that employer. Reis & Company reserves the right to disclose information about the candidate to any person with a lawful entitlement to obtain such information. Such persons may include Insurers, a Workers Compensation Body or as part of any relevant Legal processes.
4. Reis & Company will take all practicable steps to ensure that relevant personal information which it holds is current, complete and up to date. However, it is incumbent on the candidate to ensure that our records about the individual reflect their current circumstances.
5. Reis & Company will allow candidates to have access to information we have about the individual. However, any fees or charges incurred by Reis & Company in recovering such information may be charged to the individual. Reis & Company will only release such information with a reasonable period of notice and upon presentation of an appropriate form of identification such as a driver’s license or passport.
6. Reis & Company will undertake all reasonable steps to ensure that information we have on a candidate is maintained both in hard copy and electronically in a secure manner and that access is restricted to persons who are aware of Reis & Company’s Privacy Policy.
